Plot, Politics & Play is a contribution to the online artist collaborative project Digging featuring the work of Brigitte Jurack, Chris Powell & Kiran Sattar. Engaging with personal concerns about climate change, sustainability, environmental ethics and the global reach of the COVID-19 pandemic, the artists present work that responds to the terrain of Texas Christian University and revolves around aesthetic connections and overlapping studio practices. Their shared concerns coalesce around earth, or more specifically clay, and this material has been a significant waypoint in their camaraderie and international exchange over several years.
